Fall 2024
The Life & Literature Series is a yearly perfromance series at MU conceived by Dr. Heather Carver in 2002. The content of the series changes from year, but the mission remains the same, to feature new, experimental, and original performance work by and for students, especially from marginalized backgrounds. From autobiographical performance to climate change theatre, this series speaks in direct response to the issues faced by our community.

Fall 2024

In the 2024 Life and Literature Series I directed three autobiographical performances. Two of these performances were first workshopped in my Performance of Literature course in the Spring. Artistic Director Heather Carver attended our spring showcase and invited these students to perform their work in the Fall under my direction.
